Autograph delivers sound for ‘sheer theatrical magic’ – Kyoto

Share

Opening tonight at London’s Soho Place and running for a 16-week season, Kyoto is a sharply observed, darkly comic political thriller from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Good Chance, with a full sound package supplied by Autograph and sound design by Christopher Reid (Daddy Issues, The Inheritance).

Kyoto at Soho Place

Written by Joe Murphy and Joe Robertson and directed by Olivier Award-winners Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, Kyoto tells the story of the 1997 Kyoto Climate Conference and the tense battles and machinations that led to the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol – the world’s first concerted attempt to curb carbon emissions.

Kyoto – described by WhatsOnStage as ‘sheer theatrical magic’ – transfers to the West End following its critically acclaimed run at the RSC’s home in Stratford-upon-Avon. Catch it if you can!
